Mico Lands Starrring Role On The Block 2016 04A

Mico Bathrooms has once again signed on as the exclusive partner for the bathroom fixtures and fittings for season five of New Zealand's popular TV3 renovation show, The Block NZ in 2016.


Mico is showcasing their range of products in the show's bathroom and ensuite weeks.

Last week was bathroom week and all four teams produced high quality, luxurious bathrooms using Mico's range of products.

Mico isn't the only FB business featuring on the show - Winstone Wallboards, Firth, and Fletcher Aluminium join Mico in specialist episodes, including kitchens, bathrooms, ensuites, and outdoor areas.

The inaugural WANZ Awards were held on 17 June at the Crown Plaza in Auckland. Fletcher Aluminium’s products and people won multiple awards across several categories.

Sustainability Awards

Two of Fletcher Building's business units were recognised for their hard work towards sustainability at the 2015 NZI Sustainable Business Network Awards.

Laminex New Zealand's Taupo site was recognised with the EECA Business Energy Management Award for its dedication to reducing their impact on the environment, which has seen them recycle 88% of the 2.5 million kilos of waste produced over the past year.

Representing GBC Winstone on the podium was Shane Hagai, Kapiti Quarries Manager, Wellington, who was awarded Commendation in the Sustainability Champion category for his work in making sure quarrying has a positive impact in his local community.

Congratulations to Fletcher Construction Chief Executive Graham Darlow who won Exec Leader of the Year at the NZ Business Leader H&S Forum.

Fletcher Building welcomes Building and Housing Minister Dr Nick Smith’s announcement that Fletcher Residential will be the developer of a greenfields site at Moire Rd, adding 196 much-needed homes to the Auckland market.

Sale of Rocla Quarry Products Completed

Auckland, 29 January 2016 – Fletcher Building Limited announced that it has completed the divestment of Rocla Quarry Products assets to Hanson Construction Materials Pty Ltd, following clearance from the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission and the Foreign Investment Review Board.
